My wife and I decided to go out on a random drive on a nice night a few days ago and ended up near the Missouri River south of Bismarck. Of course I had to bring a camera, and the Milky Way was looking pretty good that night! Photos taken with my Fujifilm X-Pro2 + Rokinon 12mm f/2, Rokinon 8mm f/2.8 fisheye, Fujifilm 16mm f/1.4, or Fujifilm 10-24 f/4. Here below you can really see the difference between 12mm at f/2 and 10mm at f/4. 10mm is definitely wider, but because that lens lets in 1/4 of the light there is a lot less... lustre in the photo. Both are really nice, though! And one last one, taken with the fisheye lens pointed pretty much straight up and de-fisheyed in post. Thanks for reading! I'll have a couple more posts in the next couple days about my trip up to Lake Metigoshe!
